Ducati DesertX V2 Arrives: Serious Off-Road ADV with 890cc, 110hp

A proper ADV at 890cc and 110hp is exactly what I want for touring. How much luggage can it carry?

True to its name, it fits the desert perfectly. Want to ride long distance to that 890cc V-twin's pulse.

Okay, 110hp, got it. But what about the weight and fuel tank capacity? For an ADV, range is everything.

If you want serious off-road, isn't the Ténéré 700 just as good? It doesn't break and it's cheaper. Ducati's job here is just looking good.

Don't need 110hp, just want it cheaper. A Ducati ADV makes me shudder thinking about inspection and maintenance.

The DesertX looks amazing but it's heavy. Even with the V2 shedding weight, it'll probably be a handful on the trails.
