Editorial Policy

Editorial Process & Accountability

Final responsibility for all content published on this site rests with our human operator (Camino Works Co., Ltd., Wire Media Division).

MotoBook Wire uses AI and cloud-based routines to collect, translate, summarize, write, and check motorcycle news. Routine stories may be published after automated checks for duplication, sourcing, factual consistency, and editorial quality. Stories involving sensitive people, companies, or topics, as well as possible duplicates, may be held for human review.

A human does not manually review every article before publication. The operator designs the automation rules, monitors published content, and makes corrections, unpublishes items, or handles takedowns when necessary. Responsibility for errors or issues rests with the operator, not the AI.

Client Relationships & Editorial Independence

Camino Works Co., Ltd., which operates Wire Media, provides marketing services to motorcycle-related brands, including motorcycle manufacturers and riding-gear brands in Japan and overseas. Wire Media’s editorial decisions are made independently of these business relationships. We apply the following principles.

  • News about client companies is covered under the same editorial standards as news about every other manufacturer and brand.
  • We do not accept client direction or requests concerning specific coverage, tone, or whether an item is published.
  • Content created for compensation as advertising, PR, or a tie-in is always labeled “Advertisement,” “PR,” or “Sponsored.” We do not publish content related to commissioned work without that disclosure.
  • This policy follows Japan’s stealth-marketing disclosure rules, effective October 2023, under the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations.

Accuracy of Information

News summaries are based on identified sources such as original media reports, official manufacturer announcements, and industry-body statistics. Our policy is not to add unsupported facts or present speculation as established fact.

In news summaries, we avoid:

  • Unsupported additions, inferences, predictions, or speculation
  • Presenting guessed pricing, specifications, or release dates as confirmed information
  • Presenting an unfounded interpretation of a manufacturer’s intent or strategy as fact

When citing a future outlook or market forecast, we always state the source and subject clearly — e.g., “according to [Company]’s announcement” or “according to [Report].”

Content clearly labeled as an AI writer perspective, commentary, or original may include interpretation or opinion from a fictional AI editorial persona. Those views do not represent the source or a real person and are kept distinct from the factual news summary.

Copyright & Attribution

This site does not republish articles from other media outlets verbatim. The factual information reported by each news source (announcement details, specifications, schedules, and so on) is summarized and restructured by AI — it does not reproduce the original wording or text.

Every article clearly states its source (the media outlet’s name) and includes a direct link to the original. The summaries on this site function as an entry point to primary sources; please check the original article for full details.

Images accompanying articles are OGP (Open Graph Protocol) images published by each media outlet, retrieved and re-hosted on this site’s own storage to keep display stable. Images are used only to the extent needed to introduce the original article and to credit its source, and we include attribution (outlet name / credit) wherever possible. If a rights holder contacts us, we will promptly remove the image or stop distributing it — see “Takedown Requests” below.

Handling of Source Text Data

This site temporarily processes original source text only to the extent necessary to generate an AI summary, and does not retain that source data once the summary has been generated. The full text of original articles is never stored permanently in this site’s database.

Takedown Requests

If we receive a takedown request for a published article from its original author, a press outlet, or a manufacturer, we will respond within 24 hours of confirming the details.

  • Email: wire.media819@gmail.com
  • Subject:“Article Takedown Request”
  • Body: The URL of the article in question, the reason for the request, and your contact information

Our Use of AI

This site uses AI to collect, translate, and summarize news, generate AI writer commentary, and perform fact and editorial checks. We disclose that use of AI. Routine stories may be published after automated quality gates. The operator manages the automation rules and exceptions and takes responsibility for correcting AI-generated content when an error is identified.

Common Rules for All Agents

  1. No language or content that harms or demeans a person, ever
  2. Always cite the source (URL or outlet name)
  3. Photos are OGP images published by each outlet, retrieved and stored with clear attribution (we respond promptly to takedown requests)
  4. Distinguish fact from opinion and always flag uncertain information as such
