Does the clutch lever itself still remain with the E-Clutch system?

Bugs me the article doesn't cover the weight increase or price difference from adding the E-Clutch.

Among mid-size adventure bikes this is one I'd want a comparison test against the Tenere 700 for.

They say 40 years of history, but honestly there was a gap in production so it wasn't really continuous.
