KTM to Phase Out Divisive 'Demo Mode' on Future Models, Responding to Customer Feedback

I'd rather they just include everything in the price from the start - makes it way easier when buying used later.

What was demo mode actually for in the first place - like a trial version?

Just seeing them say they properly listened to customer feedback already makes a good, if unusual, impression.

Dropping it is fine, but with KTM mid-turnaround, cutting a revenue lever like this makes me wonder if it's really okay.

Letting you try it for 1500km and then charging extra afterward really did feel like a bait-and-switch design from the start.
